TOP 10: UP & COMING COMIC BOOK WRITERS

01. JASON AARON - currently writing Punishermax, Wolverine, X-Men Schism (which leads into the upcoming title Wolverine & the X-Men), Scalped & the Incredible Hulk.

02. SCOTT SNYDER - currently writing Batman, American Vampire, Swamp Thing, Batman: Gates of Gotham &  just finished writing Detective Comics & Flashpoint: Project Superman.

03. JEFF LEMIRE - currently writing Animal Man, Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E & Sweet Tooth.  His past work on Essex County, the Nobody and Superboy are must reads for any comic fan.  Plus, he's Canadian.

04. NICK SPENCER - currently writing Morning Glories, Ultimate Comics X-Men, Iron Man 2.0, Secret Avengers & Infinite Vacation.

05. PAUL CORNELL- currently writing Demon Knights & Stormwatch.  His recent work on Action Comics, Dark X-Men, Knight & Squire & Captain Britain MI 13 is why more work will come his way.  He has also written many times for Doctor Who.

06.KIERON GILLEN- currently writing Uncanny X-Men, Generation Hope & Journey Into Mystery.  You should check out his work on the music influenced Phonogram & CBGB.

07. JUDD WINICK- currently writing Batwing & Catwoman.  His recently finished work on Brightest Day Justice League Generation Lost and adaptation of his Batman:  Under the Red Hood to animated DVD truly show why he is on the rise.  Best Batman animated DVD I have ever seen.

08. CHRIS ROBERSON - currently writing Izombie, Cinderella: Fables are Forever & has just finished work on Superman and Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love.

09. J.H WILLIAMS III - one of the best artists in the industry taking on writing duties.  His writing credits can be read in Batwoman #0 and the ongoing Batwoman series beginning this September as part of DC's 52 relaunch.  His work with Rucka on Detective Comics: Batwoman already makes his own Batwoman run a must read.

10. DAVID FINCH - again one of the industries best artists taking on writing duties.  Unfortunately, his work on Batman: Dark Knight has been delayed  to coincide with the DC 52 relaunch.  If the issues that have slowly come out over the last year are any indication, Batman: Dark Knight will be a must read title.
